FRESH AIR ART CONTEST
Brought to you by Artists Resisting Tobacco (A.R.T.)
Create anti-tobacco artwork AND communicate a no-smoking policy to the public
Entries must be a visual art piece (drawing, painting, photography, etc.) with an anti-tobacco theme (such as the dangers of secondhand smoke). The piece must also communicate, in a caption, that students who smoke at any of the 4 Peralta schools can get fined, starting at $45.
*Note* – Art pieces that do NOT contain this info will NOT be considered for judging.
1ST PLACE PRIZE IS $150!
2ND PLACE PRIZE IS $50!
TOP 3 SELECTED PIECES WILL BE MADE INTO SIGNAGE AND DISPLAYED AT THE PERALTA SCHOOLS!

-SMOKE FROM THE TIP OF THE CIGARETTE HAS 20 TIMES THE CARCINOGENS AS SMOKE INHALED BY THE SMOKER.
-SMOKING CAUSES WRINKLES, ACNE, YELLOW TEETH, BAD BREATH, HEART DISEASE, CANCER
– SECOND HAND SMOKE CAUSES BREAST CANCER, ASTHMA AND SUDDEN INFANT DEATH SYNDROME (SIDS)
